There are several taxi options in Madrid to and from Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport. Taxis are a convenient and reliable mode of transport, especially for passengers with luggage or those who prefer door-to-door service. Find out how you can book a taxi from Madrid Airport here.

On arrival at Madrid-Barajas Airport, you will find an official taxi rank outside each terminal. The designated taxi ranks can be reached by following the signs marked "Taxi". There are separate stands for Terminal 1, Terminal 2, Terminal 3 and Terminal 4.

Please make sure you only use licensed taxis from official taxi ranks at the airport. Licensed taxis are easily identified by their white colour and red stripe and the blue and white taxi sign on the door.

The price for a taxi ride from Madrid Airport to the city centre or other places in the city is based on a flat rate. The price includes the airport surcharge and is displayed on the meter inside the taxi. Additional charges may apply for luggage, tolls and late night driving.

Alternatively, you can use taxi apps such as MyTaxi (now called FREE NOW) or Cabify to book a taxi in advance or upon arrival at the airport. These apps allow you to order a taxi, track its location and pay for the ride electronically.
